It’s not easy planning a wedding. I can’t imagine putting together all of the details that it takes to make your wedding day special. Take all of that and add thousands of miles between you and your wedding venue. Talk about craziness! But that is exactly what Adriana and Jason did. They planned their Alexandria Bay, New York wedding from Fort Lauderdale, Florida! I talked frequently with Adriana on the phone before I actually got the pleasure of meeting her on her wedding day. We automatically clicked and we spend a fantastic day together.

Adriana also wins my Funniest Story of the Season award. Once Adriana was ready, we asked her family if they wanted to take some pictures before the ceremony. They decided that they wanted to see her officially at the wedding and not before. So Adriana and I took the extra time we had to do bridal portraits down by the water (literally a few feet from the hotel where she and her family were staying). Her brother-in-law was designated to transport her from the hotel to the ceremony. We spent 7 minutes shooting by the water and then we went back to the hotel to find her ride. Apparently there was some miscommunication because everyone had left for the ceremony, even her brother-in-law! So I tucked Adriana away in my 2 door hatchback and brought her to the wedding! It’s not often that I get the privilege of driving a bride to her ceremony! Luckily my car is white! Adriana is such a great sport, we laughed about it the whole way there. Unfortunately I don’t think her brother-in-law will ever live it down!

The weather was perfect, the loctation was beautiful, and the bride and groom were full of tender, quiet spoken love. Ashleigh and Craigs ceremony was heartfelt and emotional! They were married at Belhurst Castle in Geneva, NY. Tim and I had a wonderful time capturing the candid moments of Ashleigh and Craig’s day!

“I had this really aweful dream that our wedding photographers didn’t show up to the wedding!” Alyssa admited to us a couple weeks before their wedding. We reassured her that there was no way we were missing their amazing day! Needless to say, she was very relieved when we showed up that morning! The ceremony was at Hoopes Park in Auburn NY and their reception was at Ochard Vali in Lafayette NY. It was amazing to get to know Alyssa and Zack, they’re so full of joy and love for one another. It was a spectacualr day!
