Stay-c & Ronnie: Married!

November 12, 2009

Usually Ronnie and Stay-c are full of laughter. You can find Ronnie cracking jokes and pulling pranks on his friends and Stay-c is right there with him laughing so hard that she’s doubled over. On their wedding day however, they were full of of something much more profound. It was an intense love and joy. Stay-c was stunning as she walked down the isle, eyes only for Ronnie. The man with a 1000 one liners then had no words at all to say as Stay-c approached.

They were married at St. John’s Church in Liverpool, NY and their reception was at Justin’s Grill. This wedding was nothing less than epic! We spent several hours in between the ceremony and reception taking all sorts of AMAZING photos and then we were off to Justin’s for one of the most ROCKIN parties we experienced during the wedding season! Tim and I ended up staying for 14 hours that day. Not because we had to, but because we WANTED to. When the party ended at midnight all of us could have kept dancing for hours.

On a side note, this whole day was very personal for me as well. I’ve known Ronnie for about 6 years. He’s always been a magnanimous and generous personality. It was absolutely surreal to go full circle with Ronnie, back when I met him I started taking pictures of his band Straighter Than Pete and now to be the one who documented one of the most important days of his life is just so amazing. Stay-c has her hands full but she is sure equip to handle Ronnie. He has found his perfect match. Congrats Stay-c and Ronnie, It is a privilege to be your friend and photographer!

Julie & Joe: Married!

November 11, 2009

The rain saturated day was a stark contrast to the sunny day almost a week before when Julie and Joe did their engagment session at Onondaga Park. But the weather didn’t put a damper on their spirits. In fact, it only strengthened Julie’s resolve. As soon as the weather broke for a brief moment, Julie decided to go ahead with her out door wedding plans at the Fox Run Vineyard in Geneva, NY. As soon as Julie began to walk down the isle the skys opened up again! Thank goodness for umbrella’s! The intimate ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt. Everyone seemed  content to stand in the rain and watched two of their favorite people make their beautiful vows. Once the ceremony ended, we all headed down to the vineyards main building for fantastic food and company! Their reception was different than most, there was no cake cutting, no boque toss. Just a simple, elegent dinner with close family and friends. It was a beautiful evening, it was a joy and pleasure getting to know both of you Julie and Joe! Thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful (and soggy ;op) day!

Angela & Marcus: Married!

November 8, 2009

Marcus glowed as he arrived to the Skyline Lodge at Highland Forest in Fabius, NY. His smile, that spanned the width of his face, would not leave as he antisipated the arrival of his beautiful bride, Angela.

When she arrived, Angela was a flutter with butterflies in her stomach. Her smile was just as big as her to be husband but with a radiance that couldn’t be matched. They shared a beautiful dusk ceremony with friends and family as well as a party that will be well remembered by all!  Thank you Angela and Marcus for allowing Tim and I to capture your beautiful day!
