William and Kate…Where do I start? Your royal wedding was breath taking, thank you so much for allowing me to shoot your special day…Oh wait…that wasn’t me!  :-P

Acutally, I’m glad I didn’t shoot the royal wedding, you know why?! Because my clients are WAY better than the royal family…just sayin’!

Here is a perfect example, Jessy & Evan! They found me through a friend of a friend and then we found out we have a BAZILLION friends in common. So of course we got along like gang-busters! We bashed around Skaneateles like WE owned the place and we have some amazing pictures to prove it! These two are so full of life and joy! I didn’t want to stop! Thanks Jessy & Evan! I can’t wait to shoot your EPIC 11/11/11 wedding!

Every now and then something out of the ordinary will occur. I like it! It keeps me on my toes! In this particular situation, I received a Facebook message from a woman who seemed only “slightly” frantic. The message went on to describe how her sorority sister’s wedding was the next day and the photographer that the bride & groom had hired, (I wont go into detail on this) for some reason or another couldn’t do the wedding. She knew that it was a long shot, but she wondered if I could step in. If any of you know me personally, I can’t turn away some one who needs help, let alone a wedding! So of course I accepted, and I’m so glad I did!

I didn’t get to actually meet Tracie and Lawrence until the next morning when they were all dressed up and ready to go! That didn’t matter though, because they were completely laid back and wonderful! Our personalities went well together and they trusted me fully. It was a beautiful day full of quiet moments that melted my heart! It was such a pleasure getting to document their special day! Thank you Tracie & Lawrence! It was an honor!

He’s charismatic, she’s engaging. He’s matter of fact, she’s artistic & fluid. Together Leah & Patrick create an amazing duo! It’s easy to see when they’re together just how well they compliment each other! When we sat down and chatted about their amazing wedding plans I couldn’t help but think “Man, I’m a lucky duck!” Not only are Leah & Patrick amazing human beings, but they’re friends of mine. I can’t help but feel even more privileged to document a wedding day when I go into it knowing the couple. It adds so much emotion. That’s why I recommend a You + Me session to ALL of my couples. That way I can get to know you and call you “friends” on your special day. It’s during the You + Me session that we can make a connection & that connection transfers into beautiful photographs for you to cherish forever! It was easy as pie for Leah & Pat’s You + Me Session. All we did was walk around Syracuse & have a fabulous time together! Their wedding is the official kick-off to my wedding season and what a glorious kick-off it will be! I am SO excited!
