I awoke to some pretty awesome news today! My dear friend Katie Lemos Brown of Lovewell Celebration Design and her AMAZING blog The Lovewell Post (aka The Post) wrote an atricle for Today’s CNY Woman Magazine! Guess who’s picture made it for the Artistic Bride?! Go figure right? Wow! 2012 has really started off with a BANG! I’ve been going a little crazy as of late, so I do whole heartedly apologize for neglecting my blogging duties…I know…I’ve missed you too!
I thought i’d share with you a few of the things that have been going on in Mabyn-land!
The New Year was wonderful, I kicked it off with an intimate party at home with some very close & awesome friends! After celebration and some wrap up stuff at the office I headed off to Connetticut for a wedding photography conference called Mystic Seminars. This was my fourth year attending and I still glean something new every year! These seminars consist of some of the most talented and renowned photographers in the industry! They take time from their busy schedules to share nuggets of wisdom and their point of view on business & photography. It’s also a very small conference, only about 250 people attend so you can get to know the speakers as well as other photographers around you. As I am now a vetren, I know a lot of the people coming to Mystic. It’s always a great time to reminisce with old friends, make new ones, and learn more about my passion!

After spending 4 days neck deep in education and inspiration I was revved up to do shoot! Luckily I had 2 shoots booked for my returning week. I got to hang out with the Reyes Family for Tirzah’s 6 month photos AND I got to capture Yolanda & Arel’s GORGEOUS Love Story! Was I ever excited to flex my newly pumped photo muscle! Both days went extremely well and I can’t wait to show you all their stories!
