Woah, woah, woah! What?! You’re moving? Where? Why? When? How?!!!

Well, to answer your questions:

You’re moving?! - Yes!

Where? – Greensboro, North Carolina!

Why? – For several reasons, but the biggest is that I have a great opportunity to help some friends in that area as well as expand my business!

When? – Currently there is no set date, but my aim is for February 2013

How? – Preferably by my car…walking would take me awhile.

Ok, ok so yes, I am moving and It’s come about rather quickly and not without some serious prayer and consideration. I can tell you that it’s been interesting trying to finish up wedding season and trying to plan a move at the same time…Can we say mental break down? uhhhg!

Here are some more answers to questions you may have:

What does this mean for your 2013 weddings? – The weddings that I have currently on the books I will be holding to. I plan on coming back up to NY in June and staying through the majority of my wedding season.

Are you still booking in NY? – I am currently booking here in NY, but only through certain dates. If you have a wedding date from June 2013 through September 2013 I will be here in the area.

What if I’m getting married in 2014? – Do not fret! My goal is to keep a presence here in NY, that means I will need to shoot at least 3-5 weddings a year here in the CNY area. So please inquire!

What about your Lifestyle clients? – Any current clients that have scheduled shoots I will be holding to or rescheduling.

Are you still booking Lifestyle clients? – Yes, if we can arrange the shoot for the times I will be in NY then I have no problem booking.

How often do you plan on being in NY? – Other than the upcoming wedding season I have no set dates for when I will return to NY. Although ,my family and friends are in the CNY area and I plan on visiting them for most major holidays. Otherwise I will be posting both here on my website as well as on my Facebook fanpage any dates I plan on returning and will be available to shoot.

What about Travel fee’s? – Currently there will be no additional travel fee’s – although this could change

I am so so so SO SOSOSSOSOSOSOSOSO thankful to my family, friends, NY clients, and fan base! You have been a constant encouragement and literally the loves of my life! My experiences here in NY can never be replaced and I will hold you all very near and dear to my heart! I hope to continue staying in contact with you all, even if it’s vicariously through Facebook! To say that I will miss NY can’t even begin to accurately describe how I will long to see you all, take pictures of your smiling faces, and laugh, laugh, laugh at some many wondrous things. As this chapter closes I am looking to the next one with just as much excitement as fear. There are so many new adventures to be had and I hope that you’ll all still take part in them, even if it’s just here on the blog. Thank you again for everything my friends. I love you!

Natalie’s Modeling Session

Every now and again I get to shoot a project that completely refreshes me. 3/4th’s of the way through my season I got a phone call from Natalie’s mom. She relayed how interested Natalie was in my photography and I couldn’t have been happier to take on her Senior Portrait session. Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE shooting weddings and babies and probably always will. Sometimes though it’s a strain to be creative and fresh so when something comes along that re-sparks that creativity in you, you just gotta go for it! And so we did! Natalie and her parents were completely up for my crazy ideas! We also spent a good chunk of time frolicing in the field next door too! Over all we had a great time and it was so effortless, because as you’ll see momentarily Natalie is Drop. Dead. Gorgeous!!!! I could have kept shooting all day long! Thanks so much to Natalie and her parents for choosing me! It was so wonderful! Enjoy!

Nikki & Marquis’ Love Story : Real Love : Syracuse, NY Wedding Photography

I’ve known Nikki for about 4 years now. She’s and her wonderful family attend my church, Faith Chapel. It’s always such a blessing to capture a wedding and even more so when you worship & pray together on a regular basis! So when Nikki asked me to do her wedding I was more than thrilled! She and Marquis are like peanut butter and jelly, they just go so well together! When you meet them and watch them interact it’s obvious that their souls were ment to be tied to one another. So of course their wedding day was amazing & full of beautiful moments. I especially love that they got married the day after Christmas! All of the decorations were stunning & we got to play a little bit in the snow! (Thanks for braving the wind for me guys!) The whole day was a giant celebration of two families FINALLY becoming one! Thank you so much Nikki & Marquis!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

Walking into the reception hall. The room looked amazing- it was a surreal experience!

What was you favorite detail?

Groom: The blue uplighting at the reception all.
Bride: The “God’s knot”

Any advice for future bride & grooms?

Groom: Plan early, don’t sweat the small stuff, and remember to enjoy your day- it’s about you!
Bride: You are the Princess for the day!- Just RELAX and soak it all in.

Funniest memory from you wedding day?

Groom: Pastor Chris Metallo’s wonderful ceremony!- Filled with laughs!
